Danielle loves connecting with readers of all ages at school visits, conferences, workshops, book festivals and more! Danielle's presentations are interactive, informative and tailored to the needs of your school or organization!
In-person visits can be structured to meet the needs of your audience. They are typically 45-60 minutes long. After the general presentation, a book signing is included. Schools may choose to do up to three presentations a day so the workshop is geared toward specific grade levels. Note: Schools in the DMV area can contact Danielle for a local discount.
Zoom visits can also be tailored to the audience. They typically last 30-45 minutes and are followed by a 15-minute Q & A session. Books can be ordered and signed in advance from a local independent bookstore or through the publishers' websites.
Writing workshops are available for writers of all ages. Workshops vary in length depending on age of the participants. They also can be tailored to specific needs or interests. These are usually capped at 25 students per group, so that Danielle has the chance to work with each student.
This is a 30 to 45 minute workshop on the integration of social studies and language arts. Danielle will talk about the need to expose readers to diverse settings using her book, I Want To Ride the Tap Tap or Ruth First Never Backed Down.
For I Want To Ride the Tap Tap, Danielle can provide a 30 minute hands-on activity that ties into a reading and discussion of the book. For Sydney A. Frankel's Summer Mix-Up, Danielle is available to lead kindness workshops that usually runs 1 hour and tie into the theme of the book. These workshops are ideal for preschool through 8th grade.
